These are the master terms covering all products, platforms, sites, apps, and services operated by Joseph M. Castillo (together, the “Services”). By using any of the Services you agree to these terms.

Layered terms. An individual Service may publish its own additional terms. Those apply on top of these master terms; where they conflict, the Service-specific terms govern for that Service. Anything not covered there falls back to this page.

The Services

The Services are the software, platforms, websites, and tools operated by Joseph M. Castillo. They are provided as-is and as-available. Some are free; some may be offered with their own additional terms.

Accounts & sign-in

Some Services let you sign in through a third-party authentication provider of your choosing. You're responsible for the account you sign in with and for activity under it. That sign-in is also governed by the provider's own terms. What we collect is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Use the Services for their intended, lawful purpose.
Don't abuse, attack, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to break the Services or their sign-in.
Don't post or upload content that isn't yours to share, or that is unlawful or harmful.
Respect other people using the Services.

Intellectual property

The Services, their code, designs, and content are the property of Joseph M. Castillo unless stated otherwise, and are protected by law. Content you create stays yours; by putting it into a Service you allow us to store and display it as needed to run that Service for you and the people you share it with.

Third-party content & information

Verify before you rely on it. Some Services display information drawn from third-party and public sources. That information is provided on a best-effort basis and may be delayed, cached, incomplete, or inaccurate. Always confirm independently before relying on it for any decision that affects safety, health, finances, or legal rights. You are responsible for the choices you make based on the Services.

Availability & changes

There's no guarantee of uptime. Features and Services may change, pause, or be removed at any time without notice. We may update these terms; the “last updated” date changes when we do.

No warranty & limit of liability

The Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Joseph M. Castillo is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from use of the Services or reliance on any information in them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
